INFORMATION & NEWS

The Club will endeavor to bring to you the latest information about our horses, our members and the western industry. 

We have outlined some guidelines below, which will assist you in getting familiar with our passion. 

 

We conduct shows, competitions, clinics and exhibitions, which includes many disciplines such as:-

  • Halter and Showmanship at Halter,

  • Led Performance classes such as Lunge Line, Led Trail, Hunter in Hand

  • Western Pleasure, Trail, Western Horsemanship

  • Reining and Western Riding

  • Ranch Riding, Ranch on the Rail, Ranch Trail, Ranch Reining and Ranch Conformation

  • Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation

 

Event Categories of the above classes are offered for (see below to research this further)

  • Beginners (Improvers)

  • Novice Amateur, Amateur and Masters Amateur riders

  • All Age Horse, Junior Horse and Senior Horse

  • Training Opportunity events such as Any Handed Encouragement, Open Walk/Jog or Walk/Trot and Novice Horse​ 

 

To show at an approved event, your horse is required to be registered with a Breed Registry or Association.  This is not specific to western breeds.  We would love to see some Shetlands nailing a Showmanship at Halter pattern!

The Club will also focus on social days and events for some fun with like-minded people.  The Best way to be included in these invites is to become a member and receive the information as its released via email.

SOCIAL DAY 30/11/24

What a day we had at our home grounds in Coolup!

Commencing at 9.00AM we had the arena graded and a trail course set up for people to enjoy a social ride together.  

19 horses and 24 members and friends attending to catch up, have a laugh and enjoy the amazing luncheon provided by our committee!
