
COMMITTEE
The Committee plays a vital role in the effective functioning of WAPHA by providing leadership, guidance and support from strategic planning to day to day operations and event management.
The Committee has the responsibility of ensuring the WAPHA complies with the Constitution, the Act as per the Department of Local Government Industry Regulation and Safety and its affiliation with Paint Horse Association of Australia.
When Committee Members exercise their powers and responsibilities to act on behalf of the association, they must:

exercise their powers with due care and diligence,
-
ensure that any business decisions are made in good faith and in the best interests of the association,

not make improper use of information or their position for personal gain or to cause detriment to the association,
-
disclose and manage conflicts of interest
-
exercise power in accordance with the rules of the association.
It's a huge task to present events and provide support to our members and industry supporters, we encourage you to consider joining the committee. Many hands make lighter work, and your input would be hugely appreciated by all.
